German Easter Cake

  • 1 Lamb Cake Tin about 2 pint volume


  • 65 g cake flour
  • 65 g corn flour
  • 130 g sugar
  • 140 g vegetable oil canola or sunflower
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Grease and flour the baking pan and assemble it according to the manufacturer's instructions. Place the pan on a baking tray.
  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with a whisk or in a stand mixer. The dough should be smooth and without lumps.
  • Pour the batter into the pan. Place the tray on a lower level in the oven so that the lamb is roughly centered in the oven.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes. Use a wooden skewer to check if the lamb is done!
  • Let the lamb cool in the mold.
