The British afternoon tea must-have!
Servings: 12 scones
- 500 g flour all-purpose
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 75 g butter unsalted
- 300 ml milk
Preheat oven to 220°C.
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl. Cut the butter into pieces and rub into the dry ingredients.
Add the milk and mix until everything comes together.
Pat into a 1-inch high disc and cut the scones.
Egg wash the scones. Bake for 15 minutes.
