  • 500 g flour all-purpose
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 75 g butter unsalted
  • 300 ml milk


  • Preheat oven to 220°C.
  • Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl. Cut the butter into pieces and rub into the dry ingredients.
  • Add the milk and mix until everything comes together.
  • Pat into a 1-inch high disc and cut the scones.
  • Egg wash the scones. Bake for 15 minutes.
